Why This Indonesian Activist Has Been Protesting For 13 Years | ASIAN BOSS

Kamisan Action is a weekly silent protest that happens in Indonesia in protest of the ignorance of the various human rights abuses happening throughout Indonesia’s modern history. We meet the founder of this organization, Maria Catarina Sumarsih, whose son was killed in the Trisakti shootings in 1998, as they celebrate their thirteenth anniversary. We find out what motivated her to start this organization, and how her demands will be met. Thanks to Maria Catarina Sumarsih for sharing her story.
