Recently, there was an incident in the Philippines where a transgender woman was arrested for using the women’s bathroom in a Manila shopping mall. That trans woman is Gretchen Diez, the one responsible for triggering this nationwide debate, and who is now probably the most talked about trans woman in the Philippines.
