Jeremy Chew, deputy head keeper with the great apes section, has cared for the orang utans for close to 17 years. His wife jokes that he spends more time with the orangutans than with her. Muhammad Izzat Jamal, cares for the manatees as well as fishes such as piranhas and stingrays. Micky Wong is a junior keeper with the herpetology section. She looks after frogs, salamanders, crocodilians and anacondas. This is her first job out of university and she has dreamt of being a zookeeper as a child.
