Sisters, Aged 8 and 24, Lean On Each Other After Losing Parents

When both their parents died of COVID-19 in June 2021 within hours of each other, Elsa Lida Ningrum, 24, was thrust into being sister, mother and head of the family to Santi, 8. But staying strong for her little sister is a struggle when Elsa still wrestles with grief herself - sometimes it’s Santi who gives the much-needed comforting hugs.
