An investigation into a growing trend in limb lengthening surgery in India, where certain men and women who believe their heights are ruining their lives, are having operations to grow taller. The film follows the progress of two men who have the procedure, starting inside the operating theatre as their surgeon breaks their legs before attaching rods, frames and bolts for the lengthening process to begin. It charts their recovery over months as they grow a millimetre at a time before struggling to get back onto their feet.
