Over in Indonesia, the government has allowed for a limited opening of mosques in COVID-19 low risk areas, amid concerns of another possible spike in coronavirus cases. In the United Kingdom, the way back to normality is vaccines. And despite strict limitations prohibiting anything entering into the body from dawn until dusk, Muslims are being encouraged to take the jab, whatever time of day. In Gaza, officials are fearing that vaccine hesitancy, coupled with the slow inoculation rollout, and gatherings during Ramadan, could exacerbate an already critical situation.
