The keepers at Singapore’s wildlife parks are kept on their toes taking care of the animals. But for some, that also includes encouraging the intelligent animals to participate in the animal shows that entertain and educate their human visitors. At the elephant exhibit, keeper Udhaya has dropped the old tricks in favour of showcasing the elephants’ natural behaviours. But how are the elephants responding to their newfound freedom of choice? At the Night Safari, Ade trains for a performance with Radin, a shy but highly-motivated pangolin. The keeper must take things slow as one wrong move could prove fatal for the fragile creature. Meanwhile, Victoria waits anxiously as Pedro the sea lion takes a turn for the worse and undergoes an operation to treat his painful glaucoma.
