Should Korea Give Out Second COVID-19 Stimulus Checks? | STREET DEBATE

People all over the world are still struggling with the rising cases of COVID-19. South Korea has just come out of a semi-lockdown and the government recently announced a second round of emergency handouts. There is a lot of debate over this latest stimulus package, as it is not given to everyone but to certain people like small business owners and self-employed people who are directly hit by the resurgence of the virus. We wanted to know how the Koreans think about this issue and whether these handouts are helpful. Should the government give handouts to everyone? Are they even helpful? We hit the streets and find out. The opinions expressed in this video are those of individual interviewees alone and do not reflect the views of ASIAN BOSS or the general South Korean population.
