Raised by murderers: Argentina’s stolen children | Short Doc

About 500 babies were abducted and appropriated by Argentina's military junta in the 1970s. Childless friends of the regime, often police and military officers, adopted and raised the 'disappeared' dissidents’ children. Only decades later were the 'stolen' children able to discover the truth about their origins, thanks to a group of grandmothers who never stopped looking for them. So far, the Grandmothers of Plaza de Mayo recovered identities of more than 120 Argentina’s stolen children. Hear some of their tragic stories.
