Young people across Nepal are taking to the streets to demand a better response from their government on the COVID-19 crisis. Since the first big one on June 9, which saw water cannoning and police brutality, several other protests have mushroomed across the Himalayan nation, demanding accountability on many fronts. The nation is caught in an escalating COVID-19 crisis, government corruption scandals, a controversial new Citizenship Bill, and the brutal killings of Dalits over the last few weeks. Iih, one of the facilitators of the COVID-19 Enough Is Enough Movement, has since begun a hunger strike at Patan with several others.
