Please excuse the fast paced editing and shaky camera -- I was a newbie back then** I FINALLY MADE IT TO PETRA in Southern Jordan, which means I've officially visited all 7 New Wonders of the World! This one, in all seriousness, might be my favorite wonder of them all. Petra is a 2,400-year-old archaeological city in the middle of the Jordanian desert, that's half built & half carved into rose-colored rock and giant sandstone cliffs.
