The first #coronoavirus cases in Singapore’s migrant worker dormitories were reported at S11 Dormitory @ Punggol on March 30, 2020. As a producer for the #CNAdocumentary One of Us documenting the massive effort to contain the virus’ spread among the foreign worker population, Pearl Forss knew the calculated risk of interviewing workers who seemed well but might be asymptomatic. She shares about the safety precautions she took: N95 masks, spectacles, disinfectant and lots of soap. Pearl also sent her two young children under 4 to her in-laws’ place in case she was infected. Her 4-year-old son, Railee, tells us how he feels about not seeing Mummy for a month.
