I just caught up with her on Zoom this morning and here is our conversation! Long story short, Fatima was on a 11 day cruise to Antarctica when the Covid-19 outbreak began. When she departed Ushuaia, Argentina (March 9th) things were quite normal... then she lost phone signal for 7 days as she enjoyed the beautiful wonders of Antarctica, but when she finally got internet, the world was not the same. The Argentinian government would not let them dock back in Argentina, so they were forced to go to Montevideo, Uruguay and get on an immediate flight to Los Angeles because the Kuwait airport was closed. Then you won't believe what her journey was like to fly back home (a few weeks ago) during the heat of the pandemic.
