In June 2019, it was reported by “Statistics Korea” that in South Korea, 453,000 people from the ages of 15 to 29 were unemployed, resulting in a 10.4% youth unemployment rate. This is 65,000 more than the number last year, and is one of the highest youth unemployment rates in the country over the past two decades. How do Korean citizens feel about this? Why do they think it’s become so hard to find a job in Korea? Let’s hit the streets of Seoul to find out.
