DJ Wordy is one of China’s earliest turntable masters, having picked up the skills and gone pro long before it reached mainstream popularity in the country. As a three-time China Champion at the DMC World DJ Championships—widely recognized in the industry as the DJ Olympics—DJ Wordy is also one of the first Chinese DJs to perform at the EDC (Electric Daisy Carnival) in Las Vegas. EDC is the largest electronic dance music festival in North America. As he got more famous globally, he worked with Diplo on commercials, and hung out with hip-hop royalty like Roc-A-Fella’s co-founder Dame Dash, and rapper Lupe Fiasco.
