In recent weeks, Indonesian police arrested a couple after a sex tape surfaced depicting the woman engaging in sexual acts with multiple men under the watch of her husband. Soon after their arrest, the husband passed away due to complications with HIV. As one of the most morally conservative countries in the world, Indonesia has had strict anti-pornography laws in place since 2008, and censors pornography heavily. How then could so many Indonesians have accessed this clip for it to become a nationwide controversy? Do Indonesians agree with the arrest? How do Indonesians feel about porn and internet censorship in general? We hit the streets of Jakarta to find out.
